ORDINANCE NO. 95-10-~ 3 7
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $72,795.09 WITH
CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY OF PADUCAH INC. FOR THE HILL TERRACE
ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
~',''~ WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Central Paving Company of Paducah Inc. the Hill Terrace Roadway
Improvement Project, as authorized by Ordinance No. 95-7-5327
adopted on July 25, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$72,795.09 is for additional roadway construction, which will
increase the contract amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$72,795.09 with Central Paving Company of Paducah Inc., which
is required for additional roadway construction.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Central Paving Company of Paducah Inc. is amended to
$278,554.85.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
~"^ Account No. 040-3315-532-2307.
I~~ SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
