Home My WebLink About95-10-5395368 ORDINANCE N0. 95-10= ~'3 9~'' AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AMENDED MEMORANDUM OF LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND COUNTY OF McCRACKEN, KENTUCKY, FOR LEASE OF THE FORMER CITY JAIL FACILITIES, FOR USE AS A JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER; AND FOR LEASE OF FOUR ADDITIONAL ROOMS FORMERLY USED BY POLICE DEPARTMENT RECORDS DIVISION, FOR USE BY THE McCRACKEN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT DETECTIVE DIVISION WHEREAS, the City and County entered into an Agreement for the City to lease to the County that area of the Paducah City Hall formerly used as a city jail, for use as a Juvenile Detention Center, as authorized by Ordinance No. 95-9-5370, adopted on September 26, 1995; and WHEREAS, the City and County have now entered into an Amended Agreement whereby the City will lease to the County four additional rooms formerly occupied by the Police Department Records Division, for use by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Detective Division. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an Amended Memorandum of Lease between the City of Paducah and County of McCracken, Kentucky, for lease of '?~, the former city jail facilities for use a Juvenile Detention ~~" Center, and for lease of four (4) additional rooms formerly occupied by the Police Department Records Division, for use by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department Detective Division. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
