ORDINANCE NO. 96-2
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 3 IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,518.16 WITH
CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY OF PADUCAH FOR THE HILL TERRACE ROADWAY
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 95-7-5327, adopted July 25,
1995, the City entered into a contract with Central Paving
Company of Paducah in the amount of $205,759.09 for the Hill
Terrace Roadway Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$72,795.09 was approved by Ordinance No. 95-10-5378 on October
17, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 in the amount of
$26,418.12 was approved by Ordinance No. 95-12-5418 on December
12, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 in the amount of
$5,518.61 is required for additional items to complete this
project.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 3 in the amount of
$5,518.61 with Central Paving Company of Paducah for additional
items required to complete the Hill Terrace Roadway Improvement
Project.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with Central
Paving Company is amended to $310,491.58.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 040-3315-532-2307.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
