AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CENTRAL PAVING
COMPANY OF PADUCAH IN THE AMOUNT OF $91,498.20 FOR THE COMPOST
FACILITY EXPANSION PROJECT -PHASE II, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid
of Central Paving Company of Paducah in the amount of
$91,498.20 for the Compost Facility Expansion Project -Phase II,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid
specifications and advertisement for bids, and as contained in
the bid of Central Paving Company of July 31, 1996.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with Central Paving Company of
Paducah for the Compost Facility Expansion Project -Phase II,
according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 055-3310-532-4245 (WW0001).
SECTION 4. In order to complete this project before
the onset of inclement weather conditions, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become
effective immediately with one reading.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be published by
summary, pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
