HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-10-558910/08/96;28487 CITY OF PADUCAH Ordinance No. 96- /O - S"Sg 9 ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 19-173 (C) OF ARTICLE IX "NON -TRANSPORTATION USE OF VEHICLES AND TRAILERS IN THE DOWNTOWN BUSINESS DISTRICT"' OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. Section 19-173 of Article IX, Non -Transportation Use of Vehicles and Trailers in the Downtown Business District," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 19-173. Exceptions. a) Vehicles sales lot as permitted by Paducah Zoning Ordinance. b) The temporary use of said vehicles by licensed contractors engaged in permitted construction projects. The Building Inspector may issue a temporary use permit for this activity. c) The Building Inspector may issue toff permits for non -transportation related uses as described in § 19-172 for festivals, celebrations, or special events. Permits issued pursuant to this subsection shall be valid for the duration of said festival celebration, or special event only. Notwithstanding the foregoing_ provision, no permit issued pursuant to this subsection shall be valid for more than ten days." SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
