ORDINANCE NO. 96-10-5�4
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXERCISE AN OPTION TO RENEW A CONTRACT WITH CENTRAL PAVING CO.
OF PADUCAH INC. FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT FOR THE
1996-1997 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, by Ordinances No. 95-7-5313 and 95-8-5341,
the City of Paducah authorized a contract and amended contract,
respectively, between the City of Paducah and Central Paving
Company of Paducah Inc. for rental of various equipment.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to exercise an option to renew a contract with Central
Paving Co. of Paducah Inc. for rental of the following
equipment, at the following per -hour prices for the 1996-97
Fiscal Year:
Tractor Scraper $95.00
Dump Truck (Tandem Axle) 39.00
Dump Truck (Tri -Axle) 40.00
Excavator 67.00
Backhoe 42.00
Track Loader 52.00
Motor Grader 56.00
Pneumatic Roller 40.00
Dozer 50.00
Dozer (Large) 72.50
Dump Trailer 45.00
1 Water Pump 80.00
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifi-
cations and advertisement for bids, as contained in the bid of
Central Paving Co. of Paducah Inc. of June 13, 1995.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said rental equip-
ment shall be charged to the following accounts:
Sewer Construction 055-3310-532-4205
Floodwall 001-3308-532-2401
Sewer Collection 055-3302-532-2401
Street Repair 003-2217-531-4227
Parks 001-2402-534-2401
Wastewater Treat. 055-3303-532-2401
Wastewater Projects 055-3310-532-4245
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publica-
tion pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
