HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-12-5613ORDINANCE NO. 96-12- S 1.3 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KINCAID ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,790 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF LIGHTING FOR THE FLOODWALL MURALS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Kincaid Electrical Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $5,790.00 for the installation of lighting for the floodwall murals, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Kincaid Electrical Contracting, Inc., of November 15, 1996. SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Kincaid Electrical Contracting, Inc., for services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. 4231. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 042-8820-536- SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
