AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $800 WITH VANGUARD
CONTRACTORS, FOR THE RE -ROOFING OF FIRE STATION NO. 5
0 WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No.96-11-5592, to enter into a contract
with Vanguard Contractors, for the re -roofing of Fire Station No. 5; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of $800
for the installation of 8 static vents to complete the project for the above referenced contract;
increasing the total contract price to $13,736.00.
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change
Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $800.00 with Vanguard Contractors for the
installation of 8 static vents to complete the re -roofing of Fire Station No. 5, increasing the total
contract price to $13,736.00.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
