ORDINANCE NO. 96-11- S"6 03
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,798.58 WITH
CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY OF PADUCAH FOR THE COMPOST FACILITY
EXPANSION PROJECT -PHASE II
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract with
Central Paving Company of Paducah for the Compost Facility
Expansion Project -Phase II, as authorized by Ordinance No.
96-8-5537, adopted on August 13, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$7,798.58 is required for additional materials, which will
increase the contract amount.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute Change Order No. 1 in the amount of
$7,798.58 with Central Paving Company of Paducah, which is
required for additional materials for the Compost Facility
Expansion Project -Phase II.
SECTION 2. The amount of the contract with
Central Paving Company of Paducah is increased to $99,296.78.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to
Account No. 055-3310-532-4245.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
