AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE INDIVIDUAL BIDS OF KENNETH
HOWLE IN THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $2,000 FOR REMOVAL OF STRUCTURES AND
OTHER SERVICES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS FOR SAME
WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 61.252, the City of Paducah has received disclosures
and adopted findings of fact with respect to the entry of an agreement with Kenneth Howle, a city
employee, for the removal of structures and other services for certain properties located within the City
of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to receive Howle's individual bids and enter into such
agreements.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the individual bids of Kenneth Howle
in the aggregate amount of $2,000 for removal of structures and other services for the following
properties located in the City of Paducah, said individual bids being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications, and as contained in the bids of Kenneth Howle of May 12, 1997:
1109 South 11th Street (Raze detached garage at rear, cut & remove all overgrowth at
rear, alley right of way and around the building) - $1,200
1626 Bloom Avenue (Finish razing house, haul off all debris & building materials from
lot.) - $800
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute contracts with Kenneth
Howle for services as set out in Section 1 above, according to the specifications and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to account no. 001-0801-516-2310.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
