ORDINANCE NO. 97-1-5626
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A HOME FUND GRANT IN THE AMOUNT
OF $101,113.00 FROM THE KENTUCKY HOUSING CORPORATION WITH LOCAL
MATCHING FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,815.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah approved an application for HOME Funds
through the Kentucky Housing Corporation by Municipal Order No. 730, adopted on June 11,
1996; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Housing Corporation requires the City of Paducah to
formally accept said additional funds.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby formally accepts a grant from the
Kentucky Housing Corporation for the Housing Renewal Program in the amount of $101,113.00.
The City will provide a local match in the amount of $4,815.00.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute documents necessary for
the City of Paducah to obtain HOME funds in the amount of $101,113.00.
SECTION 3. The accounts for this project are Fund 008 and General Fund
Reserve.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
