A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING A CONTRACT MODIFICATION WITH
PFGW ARCHITECTS FOR THE CITY HALL STABILIZATION PROJECT IN
THE AMOUNT OF $14,920, FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION SERVICES
RELATED TO TAX CREDITS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE CONTRACT MODIFICATION
WHEREAS, on June 9, 2026, the Board of Commissioners approved Municipal
Order #3264 authorizing the City to enter into a contract with PFGW Architects for design,
engineering, and construction administration for the City Hall Stabilization Project in the amount
of $842,500; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to seek historic tax credits for the City Hall
Stabilization Project; and
WHEREAS, a Contract Modification with PFGW Architects is now required for
the preparation and submission of historic tax credit applications and ongoing historic preservation
consultation to ensure compliance with applicable program requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City Commission hereby approves a Contract Modification
with PFGW Architects in the amount of $14,920 for historic preservation services related to
historic tax credits for the City Hall Stabilization Project, increasing the total contract amount
from $842,500 to $857,420, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said Contract Modification.
SECTION 2. The costs of this project shall be paid from Facilities Maintenance
Account No. PF0070.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
