A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION
FOR AN FY2026 KENTUCKY LEAGUE OF CITIES LIABILITY GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $3,000 FOR PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES FOR MUSIC
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT, CERTIFIED PLAYGROUND SAFETY
INSPECTOR CERTIFICATIONS AND SAMBA SAFETY - MVR MONITORING FEES
AND ACCEPTING ANY GRANT FUNDS AWARDED BY KLC, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application to obtain
an FY2026 Matching Insurance Services Liability Grant in the amount of $3,000 from the
Kentucky League of Cities for partial reimbursement of the following:
$4,472 - Music Playground Equipment - Replacement of musical instruments;
$1,519 - Certified Playground Safety Inspector Certifications for Coleman Royal and
Kobin Gray;
$586 - Samba Safety - MVR Monitoring fees
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes the acceptance of any
and all grant funds awarded by the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Services Liability Grant
and authorizes the Mayor to execute the Grant Agreement and all related documents.
SECTION 3. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
