A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE BID OF INSPIRED TECHNOLOGIES, IN
AMOUNT OF $95,320.22 FOR THE PARKS CAMERA PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
WHEREAS, on March 24, 2026, Municipal Order 3215 authorized the release of
an RFP for camera and installation services for the Parks Camera project; and
WHEREAS, the RFP was released on August 26, 2026, and a pre-bid meeting
was conducted on September 1, 2026. TESCO and Inspired Technology attended that pre-bid
meeting; and
WHEREAS, a bid opening was held on September 15, 2026, with two bids being
received, one from TESCO and one from Inspired Technology;
WHEREAS, on September 23, 2026, a committee convened using the criteria
from the RFP to evaluate both bids. After averaging all scores, the winning proposal was
determined to be from Inspired Technologies in the amount of $95,320.22;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Inspired Technologies in the amount of $95,320.22.
SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to the Parks Camera
Replacement/Expansion Project Account, Account Number EQ 0040-000-70000-70008.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and of t from and after the date
of its adoption. n
