A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF MICROSOFT LICENSING
FROM INSIGHT PUBLIC SECTOR IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $108,000
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY NASPO COOPERATIVE PURCHASING CONTRACT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXPEND FUNDS FOR SAID PURCHASE
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah desires to purchase Microsoft licensing from
Insight Public Sector through Kentucky NASPO Contract No. 060025, Master Agreement No.
758 2300000427; and
WHEREAS, this purchase is being made through a cooperative purchasing
agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky pursuant to KRS 45A.300, and therefore no
formal competitive bidding by the City of Paducah is required.
KENTUCKY:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby authorizes the purchase of Microsoft
licensing from Insight Public Sector in an amount not to exceed $108,000 through Kentucky
NASPO Contract No. 060025, Master Agreement No. 758 2300000427..
SECTION 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to expend funds in the
amount not to exceed $108,000 for the purchase authorized in Section 1 above. Said expenditure
shall be charged to the Technology Computer Software Account, Account No. 10000501-
542110.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption. /)
