ORDINANCE NO. 97-4-54,67
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENTS AND
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS ACROSS PARCELS OF LAND BELONGING TO
THE CITY OF PADUCAH., TO PADUCAH WATER WORKS TO LAY, MAINTAIN, AND REPAIR
A WATER MAIN AND WATER LINE FOR THE SOUTHSIDE PUMP STATION RENOVATION,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby provide permanent utility
easements and temporary construction easements across parcels of land belonging to the City of
Paduah, to Paducah Water Works to lay, maintain, and repair a water main and water line for the
Southside Pump Station Renovation, and authorizing the Mayor to execute same.
SECTION 2. The following easements as set out in Section 1 above are more
particularly described as follows:
Tele -Service Building property on Irvin Cobb Drive. A 15' wide
permanent utility easement 105' along Irvin Cobb Drive at Locust Drive with a 25'
temporary construction easement:
From the Grantor's southeast property corner, said point being located in
the north Right of Way of Irvin Cobb Drive and being common with the
west Right of Way of Locust Drive; thence, in a westerly direction along
the north Right of Way of Irvin Cobb Drive a distance of 105 feet to a
point located in the north Right of Way of Irvin Cobb Drive.

In addition, a 25' temporary construction easement will parallel the above
mentioned perpetual easement opposite the north Right of Way of Ervin
Cobb Drive for the entire length of said easement.
Said tract being a portion of the property conveyed to the City of Paducah
as described in Deed Book 758, Page 642 in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office.
Fire Station property on Wayne Sullivan Drive. A 15' wide permanent utility
easement 227' along the east property line to Wayne Sullivan Drive with a 25' temporary
construction easement on the west side of the permanent easement:
From the Grantor's southeast property corner, said point being located in
the north Right of Way of Wayne Sullivan Drive and being common with
the southwest corner of the property owned by James Steven Keiller as
recorded in Deed Book 740 Page 28 in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office; thence, in a northerly direction along the Grantor's east
property line an approximate distance of 227 feet to the Grantor's northeast
property corner.
In addition, a 25' temporary construction easement will parallel the above
mentioned perpetual easement opposite the Grantor's east property line for the
entire length of said easement.
Said tract being a portion of the property conveyed to the City of Paducah as
described in Deed Book 595, Page 3 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's
Office.

Urban Renewal property on Wayne Sullivan Drive at Bethel Street. A 17.75' wide
permanent utility easement along Wayne Sullivan Drive at Bethel Street:
A parcel of land 17.75 feet in width lying south of, adjacent to, and parallel
with the following described portion of the south Right of Way of Wayne
Sullivan Drive:
From the Grantor's northwest property corner, said point being located in
the south Right of Way of Wayne Sullivan Drive and being common with
the east Right of Way of Bethel Street; thence, in a easterly direction along
the south Right of Way of Wayne Sullivan Drive a distance of 215 feet to a
point located in the north Right of Way of Irvin Cobb Drive.
Said tract being a portion of the property conveyed to the Urban Renewal
& Community Development Agency of the City of Paducah as described in
Deed Book 536, Page 84 in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office.
City of Paducah property on Bethel Street adjacent to Urban Renewal property
located on Wayne Sullivan Drive. A 7.61' wide temporary construction easement from Bethel
Street east across the property. Said temporary construction easement shall be described as
follows:
A parcel of land 7.61 feet in width lying south of, adjacent to, and parallel
with the following described portion of the Grantor's north property line
said line being common with the south property line of the property deeded
to the Urban Renewal & Community Development Agency of the City of
Paducah by deed recorded in Deed Book 536 page 84 in the McCracken
County Court Clerks Office.
From the Grantor's northwest property corner, thence, in a easterly
direction along the Grantor's north property line a distance of 215 feet to a
point.
Said tract being a portion of the property conveyed to the City of Paducah
as described in Deed Book 536, Page 283 in the McCracken County Court
Clerk's Office.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective
upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
