A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO APPLY TO
THE KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR THE HB 501 GRANT
POOL FUNDS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to apply to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for the HB 501 Grant
Pool Funds, in an amount up to $100,000. These funds will be used for street projects on a city
road. Funding would be available beginning July 1, 2026.
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes the acceptance of any
and all grant funds (up to the maximum of $100,000) awarded by the Kentucky Transportation
Cabinet, and authorizes the Mayor to execute the Grant Agreement and all related documents.
SECTION 3. There is a 50% city match required. The amount of up to
$100,000 will be paid through MAP, Account Number 2300 2217 542270.
SECTION 4. This order shall be in full force and gffect from and after the date of
its adoption. �' A
