A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH MIRACLE PLAYGROUNDS
OF KY AND TN IN THE AMOUNT OF $198,743.00 FOR THE PURCHASE AND
INSTALLATION OF NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT KOLB PARK, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2026, the Paducah Board of Commissioners approved
Municipal Order 3230, authorizing the release of a Request for Proposals for new playground
equipment at Kolb Park; and
WHEREAS, the City received four proposals, with Miracle Playgrounds of KY
and TN submitting a bid in the amount of $198,743, for the purchase and installation of new
playground structures, swings, and certified playground mulch surfacing at Kolb Park in the
City's Southside.
KENTUCKY:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners approves the contract with
Miracle Playground of KY and TN in the amount of $198,743 for the purchase and installation
of new playground structures, swings, and certified playground mulch surfacing at Kolb Park in
the City's southside and authorizes the Mayor to execute all documents related to same.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be paid from the CDBG Funds CD0114,
Account Number 2100 0212 523070.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
