A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH DWA RECREATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $87,202 FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF NEW SHADE
CANOPIES FOR THE PUBLIC POOL AND TENNIS COURT FACILITIES IN NOBLE
PARK, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO
SAME
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2026, the Paducah Board of Commissioners approved
Municipal Order 3231, authorizing the release of a Request for Proposals for new shade canopies
for Noble Park; and
WHEREAS, one proposal was submitted, reviewed, and deemed acceptable and
responsive by the review Committee; and
WHEREAS, DWA Recreation's proposal was in the amount of $87,202 for the
purchase and installation of four shade canopies for the Noble Park Pool and two shade canopies
for the Tennis Courts.
KENTUCKY:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners approves the contract with DWA
Recreation in the amount of $87,202 for the purchase and installation of four shade canopies for
the Noble Park Pool and two shade canopies for the Tennis Courts and hereby authorizes the
Mayor to execute all documents related to same.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be paid from the CDBG Funds CD0114,
Account Number 2100 0212 523070.
SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force and feet fro nd after the date of
its adoption.
