CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
CALLED MEETING
MINUTES
MARCH 25, 2026
The Code Enforcement Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 25th at 4:00 p.m. on the
2nd floor of City Hall. In attendance were Tara Sawvel, Jennifer Swanson, Matt Turley, Danny
Brown, Kristen Krueger, Greg Cherry, Janet Dicke.
Absent: John Spurlin
The meeting was called to Order by Matt Turley at 4:03 pm.
The minutes for March 4th, 2026 were read and approved. Motion made by Tara Sawvel and
seconded by Danny Brown. Motion carried.
Old Business:
New Business:
An Ordinance Creating a New Article of Chapter 106, Taxation, of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, Related to Abandoned Urban Properties was discussed. A
vacant property list was submitted. The Board asked for 11 properties to be removed. Then
submit to the Finance Department. Motion made by Tara Sawvel and seconded by Matt Turley.
Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn made by Danny Brown, seconded by Jennifer Swanson. Motion carried.
