CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
CALLED MEETING
MINUTES
MARCH 4, 2026
The Code Enforcement Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 4th at 4:00 p.m. on the
2nd floor of City Hall. In attendance were Justin Fowles, Attorney for Mid South Capital
Partners, Contractor for Mid South, Mayor Bray, Daron Jordan, Tara Sawvel, Jennifer Swanson,
Matt Turley, Danny Brown, Kristen Krueger, Greg Cherry, April Pittman, Chris Lykins, Nick
Smith and Janet Dicke.
Absent: John Spurlin
The meeting was called to Order by Jennifer Swanson and seconded by Danny Brown at 4:03
pm. Motion carried.
The minutes for January 28, 2026 were read and approved. Motion made by Danny Brown and
seconded by Jennifer Swanson. Motion carried.
Old Business:
New Business:
1. 3100 Clay Street – Mid South Capital Partners
Justin Fowles, Attorney for Mid South Capital Partners, appeared to speak. The Code
Enforcement Board found there was violations on December 10th of 2025 and again on
January 13, 2026. The violations have been abated as of today March 4th, 2026. Since
the violations were abated there are no fines to implement. Motion made by Matt Turley,
seconded by Tara Sawvel, motion carried.
Motion to adjourn made by Matt Turley, seconded by Jennifer Swanson. Adjourned at 4:44 pm.
