CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
MINUTES
NOVEMBER 17, 2025
The Code Enforcement Board Meeting was held on Monday, November 17th , 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
on the 2nd floor of City Hall. In attendance were Aron Duca, Tara Sawvel, Jennifer Swanson,
Matt Turley, John Spurlin, Kristen Krueger, Greg Cherry, April Pittman, David Jones and Janet
Dicke.
The meeting was called to Order by Tara Sawyel and seconded by Jennifer Swanson. Motion
carried.
The minutes for October 29th, 2025 were read and approved. Motion made by Tara Sawyel and
seconded by John Spurlin. Motion carried.
Properties Discussed:
1. 821 Tennessee St. – Aron Duca
Mr. Duca appeared before the Board asking the Board to waive the inspection fines so he may
obtain a homeowner’s permit (building and electric) to finish up the house he is working on.
Kristen Krueger spoke up and said the Board does not have the jurisdiction to waive the fines.
Mr. Duca then mentioned he will sale the property. Kristen then mention Sec. 42-60. (B)
Petition for reduction, waiver, and release to facilitate a real estate sales transaction.

Tara Sawvel made the motion to adjourn, John Spurlin seconded the motion. Motion carried.
