HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO #3214MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 3214 A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH DELOITTE IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,000 FOR FY26 CYBERSECURITY ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, the City conducted its first cybersecurity assessment last fiscal year with the intent of having a third -party assessment each year; and WHEREAS, annual assessments are essential to identify new, evolving vulnerabilities in systems, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and help prevent cybersecurity attacks; and WHEREAS, the Commission authorized the release of an RFP for a cybersecurity assessment for this fiscal year by Municipal Order 3186, on January 27, 2026; and WHEREAS, the RFP was published on February 2, 2026, a pre-bid meeting was held on February 16, 2026, with twelve vendors in attendance, and seven RFPs were opened on February 23, 2026; and KENTUCKY: WHEREAS, Deloitte was chosen as the lowest evaluated bid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Deloitte in the amount of $40,000 for a FY26 cybersecurity assessment. SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be paid from the Technology Other Contractual Services Account Number 1000 -05 -0501 -GG -00000-00000-523070 SECTION 3. This Order will be in full force effect from and after the date of its adoption. �A George P.
