ORDINANCE NO. 97 -�- S %�
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE ZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1040 MONROE STREET, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING
ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH ZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah
Planning Commission on July 21, 1997, entitled, "A RESOLUTION
CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMIS-
SION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PADUCAH SHEET METAL, INC.,
LOCATED AT 1040 MONROE STREET" be approved as the final report
of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map
amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are
hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan
of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the
following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3,
Medium Density Residential Zone, to B-3, General Business Zone:
Beginning where the westerly line of the herein
described property intersects the center line of
Monroe Street, said point being located 138.66
feet east of the intersection of said center line
M with the easterly right-of-way of North 11th
�I Street; thence from said point of beginning in an
easterly direction along and with the aforesaid
center line of Monroe Street 123.33 feet; thence
leaving said center line with an angle of 90
degrees 02 minutes 55 seconds turned
counterclockwise from said center line and running
in a southerly direction 206.25 feet to the center
line of a public alley; thence with an angle of
89 degrees 57 minutes 05 seconds turned
counterclockwise from the preceding line and
running in a westerly direction with said center
line 123.33 feet; thence with an angle of 90
degrees 02 minutes 55 seconds turned
counterclockwise from said center line and running
in a northerly direction 206.25 feet to the point
of beginning forming an angle of 89 degrees 57
minutes 05 seconds turned counterclockwise from
the westerly line of the herein described property
to the northerly line of said site and containing
25,437 square feet or 0.584 acre.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or
provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inopera-
tive, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
-' or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall
not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof,
it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof
separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provi-
sions.

SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two
separate days and will become effective upon summary publi-
cation pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
