Minutes Monthly Board Meeting Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at 8:00am
Present Board Members- David Troutman, Vicki Brantley, Cindy Mangrum, Carol Young, Simone Fearon, John Durbin, Karami Underwood and Jackie Carruthers.
Staff Present- Sarah Walker, Executive Director. Robin Ross, Assistant Director.
Absent Board Members- Dan Frazier, Lydia May and Robert Hernandez.
Call to Order: David Troutman called the meeting to order at 8:03 am.
Minutes from Last Month: Carol Young made a motion to approve the May minutes with correction of John Durbin being added to board members being present at the May meeting. John Durbin
was also approved by the board as Treasurer. Cindy Mangrum second. The motion passed.
Committee Reports:
Finance Committee: Vicki Brantley presented financial reports. Vicki detailed the current allocations and her communication with the accountants. John Durbin has also been in touch with
the accountants. Continued work with Nathan and Quick Books. Things are better but getting everything correctly labeled and organized is still challenging and needs more work. Made
to Stay has not been properly labeled at this time. They hope getting QuickBooks and new computers will make the process easier and more efficient. John Durbin will be taking over
as Treasurer July 1, 2024. Refer to the attached financial reports.
Nominating Committee: Herb Gregory to the Senior Center Board- will start July
Personnel Committee: Nothing to report
Bylaws and Policies Committee: The updated policy handbook will be emailed with corrections to all board members so they can review and have a copy. In July we will vote regarding to
accept the updated policy handbook.
Director’s Report: See attachment presented by Sarah Walker. Everything is going great!
Assistant Director’s Report: Robin. Nothing to report
Old Business
Building Update: Thing are moving forward. Building committee and others met with Jeff Canter June 21 with many interior and exterior details selected. Breaking ground possibly fall

Motion to remove Vicki Brantley and add John Durbin to all Bank accounts/CD at Paducah Bank and all investment accounts at Paducah Financial Consultants

Simone Fearon made a motion to adjourn at 9:00 am, Karami Underwood second. The motion passed.
