A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION
FOR A 2026 KENTUCKY FIRE COMMISSION GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,700 FOR
PURCHASE OF A THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA, ACCEPTING ANY GRANT FUNDS
AWARDED BY THE KENTUCKY FIRE COMMISSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application to obtain
a Kentucky Fire Commission Thermal Imaging Grant application in the amount of $5,700.
There is no match to this grant; however, the City must purchase the equipment and be
reimbursed by the grant funds.
SECTION 2. That the City of Paducah hereby authorizes the acceptance of any
and all grant funds awarded by the Kentucky Fire Commission and authorizes the Mayor to
execute the Grant Agreement and all related documents.
SECTION 3. The initial purchase will be made from Fire Hoses/Rescue
Equipment, Account No. 1000 1802 540130.
SECTION 4. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
