A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH PADUCAH INTERFAITH MINISTRY D/B/A PADUCAH
COOPERATIVE MINISTRY (PCM) IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000 FOR
EMERGENCY SHELTER SERVICES, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND
UTILITIES, FOOD AND HYGIENE ITEMS AND OTHER OPERATIONAL NEEDS
WHEREAS, in May 2025, the Homeless Services Grant Application was
released to secure proposals from local agencies to deliver social services to the homeless
population within the City of Paducah; and
WHEREAS, four proposals were submitted and Paducah Interfaith
Ministry, d/b/a, Paducah Cooperative Ministry (PCM), was one of the agencies selected
for funding.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Paducah Interfaith Ministry, d/b/a, Paducah Cooperative Ministry (PCM), in the
amount of $50,000, for emergency shelter services, including maintenance and utilities,
food and hygiene items and other operational needs.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Homelessness
Grants Account, Account No. MRO 107.
SECTION 3. This Municipal Order shall be e ctive from and after the
date of its adoption.
