HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-1-5801ORDINANCE NO. 98-1- S59'01 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $17,886.93 WITH TILFORD CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR THE PERKINS CREEK LIFT STATION WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 96-7-5515 to enter into a contract with Tilford Contractors, Inc., for the construction of the Perkins Creek Lift Station; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of $17,886.93 for miscellaneous work and materials and an increase of 86 days for the time of completion to finalize the project for the above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $964,748.93. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $17,886.93 with Tilford Contractors, Inc., for miscellaneous work and materials and an increase of 86 days for the time of completion required to finalize the construction of the Perkins Creek Lift Station, increasing the total cost to $964,748.93. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and shall become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
