A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE OF ALL
CLAIMS AGAINSTE KENNETH W. FLOURNOY AND EL CAMINO LOGISTICS, LLC
FOR DAMAGES INCURRED TO THE ROBERT CHERRY CIVIC CENTER AND
RATIFYING THE MAYOR'S SIGNATURE
WHEREAS, On or about September 27, 2022, a motor vehicle accident occurred at the
intersection of H. C. Mathis Drive and Park Avenue, resulting in property damage to the Robert
Cherry Civic Center; and
WHEREAS, this accident and property damage resulted in a lawsuit being filed by the
City of Paducah against Kenneth W. Flournoy and El Camino Logistics, LLC to recover
damages; and
WHEREAS, Settlement negotiations resulted in the City of Paducah receiving the sum of
$150,000 and requiring the City of Paducah to execute a Release of all claims against
Defendants, Kenneth W. Flournoy and El Camino Logistics, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Commissioners authorizes the Release of Claims,
and hereby ratifies and confirms the Mayor's signature affixed thereto.
Section 2. This Order shall be in full force and effect on and after the date as
approved by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky.
