Neel Canoll, Treasurer, provided a financial report. As of the date of this meeting, Ihe total balance in the Brooks Stadium Commission account was $47,336.80. The National Club Baseball Association World Series will be conducted at Brooks Stadium on May 21 -29, 201 5. Secretary Pinkston gave a report on the Brooks Stadium website. The Paducah Tilghman blue Tomado playing schedule is up and running on the website and any potential American Legion schedule will be provided as well. President Hideg reported that he had presented a draft ofa contract for the American Legion State Baseball Tournament to Legion President Hardy Gentry. That contract has not yet been executed; Gentry is opposed to paying $500 for use ofthe stadium and objects to the provision in the contract with respect to providing liability insurance. The long-standing contract with American Legion to play baseball at Brooks Stadium expired in December 2014. That contract provided that American Legion would pay $ 100 per month to the Commission for use of the ballpark for its playing dates. It was reported by the President that American Legion is several hundred dollars in arrearage in that respect. The consensus of the Commission, on motion made, seconded, and vote taken, is that a current contract between the stadium and American Legion should not be on a monthly basis but, rather, provide that the American Legion will give the proceeds of its gate and attendance to the stadium as payment ofrent for use of the stadium. A new contract to that effect will be prepared and submitted to the Legion for execution. On motion made and seconded, the Commission agreed to seek a meeting with the mayor ofthe City ofPaducah in order to briefher on the status ofthe stadium as well as existing issues with the American Legion. That meeting is now scheduled for March 31,2015. President Hideg briefed the Commission on tentative plans of the Mid South Conference to conduct its post-season toumament at the stadium in calendar year 2016. President Hideg reported that on May 9,2015, the Southem Illinois Miners will play the Evansville Otters at the stadium. Commissioner McKeel discussed tentative plans between Murray State University and the University of Kentucky to play a game at Brooks Stadium in2016. The National Club Baseball Association will play its posrseason toumament May 2l-29. President Hideg discussed the status of existing outfield wall signs, operation of the concession stand, issues with respect to the telephone bill, and progress on putting arms on the stadium seats. The Commission agreed that ofthese issues appear to be in good condition. The meeting was thereupon adjoumed. William E. Pinkston, Secretary Dated:
