IN THE AMOUNT OF $105,132.00 FOR THE MARSHALL COURT ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of H & G Construction Company, Inc., in the amount of $105,132.00 for the Marshall Court Roadway Improvement Project, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of H & G Construction Company, Inc. dated April 28, 1999. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with H & G Construction Co., Inc. of the Marshall Court Roadway Improvement Project, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. 513-2307. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 040-1204- SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
