MINUTES – March 21, 2024
Board Members Present: Chair Robert Hernandez, Commissioners Christa
Dubrock, Irhonda Lovelace, and Dann Patterson.
Board Member Not Present: Jana Dawson, Anthony Walton, and Kimberly Yates
Meeting called to order by Chair Robert Hernandez at 4:46 PM.
Roll Call by: Stefanie Wilcox at 4:46 P.M.
Quorum established – Established at 4:47 P.M.
Additional Attendees: Daisha Johnson, Diversity Specialist
Invocation: Chairman Robert Hernandez
Pledge of Allegiance: Led by Commissioner Dann Patterson
February 15, 2024, meeting minutes motion for approval by Commissioner Dann
Patterson, Second by Commissioner Christa Dubrock, and unanimously approved.
The Fair Housing Luncheon was discussed and a calendar invite will be sent to the
Board for the meeting date. Chairman Hernandez will email out a list of duties for
everyone at the luncheon, and would like for the event to be a team effort. They
would like stressballs, pens, notebooks, and stationary to be ordered with the logo
on them.
Chairman Hernandez would like for the Board to consider people who have acted
on Civil Rights with Human Rights Commission. He has someone in mind and
would like to have feedback from the other members on it.
Pam Spencer discussed previous events that former Human Rights Commissions
have offered. They include a Fair Housing Luncheon, and an Evening of
Performance.
There were two calls and one visitor during the month of February, none resulted
in complaints.
The meeting adjourned at 5:22 pm, the motion was made by Commissioner
Irhonda Lovelace, and seconded by Commissioner Christa Dubrock, and
unanimously approved.
