A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN ASSISTANCE
TO FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, FEDERAL
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, IN THE AMOUNT OF $37,800 FOR FIRE
GROUND SURVIVAL TRAINING
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an Assistance to
Firefighters Matching Grant Application and all documents necessary through the Department of
Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, in an amount of $37,800, for Fire
Ground Survival Training.
SECTION 2. The total project will be $42,000. This grant requires a 10% local
match in the amount of $4,200, which will be allocated to the Fire Department FY25 budget.
SECTION 3. This order shall be in full force 9Ad effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
