AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1123 AND 1125 MONROE STREET IN PADUCAH McCRACKEN
COUNTY, KENTUCKY TO PADUCAH, MCCRACKEN COUNTY HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY, INC.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sec. 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that
the City does not have any use at this time or in the future for said property, which
constitutes surplus real estate.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the sale to Paducah McCracken County Habitat for
Humanity, Inc. of real property located at 1123 and 1125 Monroe Street is hereby
approved for the sum of $1.00 and other good and valuable consideration which includes a
contract to construct dwelling thereon. All City liens against this property are released
upon conveyance of said property to Habitat.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel is hereby authorized to
prepare a Special Warranty Deed for the above-described real properties, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute a deed and any other documents necessary for the sale of
(` said real property.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
