AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 99-6-6058,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1999,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2000, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to reappropriate funds for the 1999-
2000 budget which was adopted by Ordinance No. 99-6-6058 on June 29, 1999; and

WHEREAS, KRS prohibits expenses to exceed the budget in any
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1999,
and ending June 30, 2000, is hereby amended by a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $122,000 from the General Fund to the Maiden Alley Theatre Project.
SECTION 2. Reallocation of the sum of $35,000 included in the FY 2000
budget for the Seamen's Church elevator to the Maiden Alley Theatre Project is hereby
authorized.
SECTION 3. These expenditures shall be charged to the following
accounts:
001-999-699-9040: $35,000
Fund Balance: $122,000
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
