MURALS ON RAILROAD OVERPASS UPDATE
We are working on guesstimate measurements of the RR overpass for the proposal. Bacon
Workman/Jacob Cash has been very helpful - however, their information is more detailed than
what is needed at this point (please see minutes of Nov. meeting for details). It is hoped to
get the needed measurements next week.
BROADWAY DESIGN CORRIDOR
Discussion tabled due to absence of Council member Clark.
BURNS DINNER
Council member Ragland reported that council member McMillan indicated sales appear to
be going well. 74 tickets of the 120 available have been sold to date.
HOTEL METROPOLITAN UPDATE
Council member Reasons reported that the concept note was submitted to the Melon
Foundation. The general feeling is optimism for $1.2 million to support program director,
program curator, and capital improvements. The next step would be for them to ask for a full
proposal.
