IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,086 FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE HOSE FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME F PAD AH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY O UC , KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company Inc. in the amount of $14,086 for the purchase of fire hose for use by the Fire Department, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company Inc. of January 17, 2000. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Bluegrass Fire Equipment Company Inc. for the purchase of fire hose, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Account No. 001-1802-522-4013. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
