AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 822, 828 AND 832 OLD MAYFIELD ROAD, FROM R-3, MEDIUM
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO B-1, CONVENIENCE AND SERVICE ZONE, AND
C11 AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH
REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on
March 20, 2000, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF
THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 822, 828 AND 832 OLD MAYFIELD ROAD," be approved as the
final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in
said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive
plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-3, Medium Density Residential Zone to B-1, Convenience and
�Service Zone:

- 822, 828 and 832 Old Mayfield Road
Beginning at a point at the centerline intersection of Old Mayfield Road and
Guthrie Avenue; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 2313.65 feet
and an arc length of 332.48 feet, being subtended by a chord of South 17 degrees
18 minutes 39 seconds West for a distance of 221.40 feet with the centerline of
Old Mayfield Road to a point; thence South 78 degrees 47 minutes 37 seconds
East for a distance of 221.35 feet with the west line of the Richard and Tara
Montgomery property described in Deed Book 888, Page 38 to a point in the
north line of the Wayne and Linda Lindsey property described in Deed Book 929,
Page 675; thence North 11 degrees 12 minutes 23 seconds East for a distance of
199.06 feet with the north line of said property to a point in the centerline of
Guthrie Avenue; thence North 72 degrees 42 minutes 37 seconds West for a
distance of 198.92 feet with the centerline of said street to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be
found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such
section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it
being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
