ORDINANCE NO. 2003-8-6686
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION RESPECTING THE PROPOSED FINAL SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY OF FOUR RIVERS
CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (CITY OF PADUCAH) SUBDIVISION LOCATED ON/AT SOUTH
SECOND STREET TO SOUTH THIRD STREET AND WASHINGTON STREET TO ADAMS STREET,
ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND PUBLIC EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission, at a meeting held on July 7, 2003, adopted as a
preliminary report a plat of the proposed subdivision of property of Four Rivers Center for Performing Arts (city
of Paducah) for property located on/at South Second Street to South Third Street and Washington Street to
Adams Street, and by Resolution dated July 21, 2003, recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, the adoption of an ordinance approving the final plat of said subdivision reflected thereon,
and accepting the dedication of right-of-way and public easements shown thereon.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on July 21, 2003,
entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED FINAL SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY FOUR RIVERS CENTER FOR
PERFORMING ARTS (CITY OF PADUCAH) SUBDIVISION LOCATED ON/AT 2ND TO THIRD AND
WASHINGTON TO ADAMS, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF RIGHT OF WAY AND PUBLIC
EASEMENTS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters set forth therein.
SECTION 2. That the subdivision of said property shall be, and it is hereby, approved as shown
on the plat referred to in said subdivision, which plat is entitled, "Subdivision and Right of Way Dedication
Blocks 5 and 12, City of Paducah, Kentucky", and said property is hereby declared to be subdivided as shown on
said plat.
SECTION 3. That the dedication of the public right-of-way and public utility easements shown
on said plat shall be, and they are hereby, accepted. The Mayor is hereby authorized to subscribe a certificate of
approval on the plat.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be
inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or
provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon
summary publication according to KRS Chapter 424.
