Greg Cherry, Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal gcherry@paducahky.gov/270-444-8522 CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING MINUTES JULY 12, 2021 The Code Enforcement Board Meeting, was held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall. In attendance were Allan Rhodes, Beverly McKinley, Ines Hutchins, Melinda Winchester, Jim and Kathy Keeney, Steven Meredith, Lewis Meredith, David Jones, Steve Utz, Greg Cherry and Janet Dicke. This meeting was called to Order by Allan Rhodes. The Minutes were read and unanimously approved by the Board. Absent: Carol Young Properties Discussed: 2003 Jefferson St. — Jim and Kathy Keeney - Owner Jim Keeney will be meeting with Code Enforcement Officer Steve Utz, Tuesday, July 13th at 4:00 to discuss the violations on the Correction Notice. The Keeney's are to submit a timeline to the Code Enforcement Board for any remaining work Monday the 19th, 2021. Mr. Rhodes made the Motion and it was 2nd by Ines Hutchins, approved unanimously. 2. 1037N 12tt' St. —Lewis Meredith— Owner Mr. Meredith has 30 days to empty the house, demolish the structure, clear and remove all debri from this lot. Once the demolition permit is closed out by the Code Enforcement Officer, the Inspection Fines of $2,250.00 will be waived. The filing and release fees of $40.00 are to be paid by Mr. Meredith. Ms. Hutchins made the Motion and it was 2nd by Melinda Winchester, approved unanimously. 3. 2740 Ohio St — Joseph Wheeler — Owner Mr. Wheeler has 14 days to remove the debri in the yard. If not removed the City will send a contractor to remove the debri. This property has non -operational vehicles in the yard, these must be removed. Ms. Hutchins made the Motion and it was 2nd by Beverly McKinley, approved unanimously. Meeting adjourned.
