The Electric Plant Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky d/b/a Paducah
System ("PPS") held a regular Board Meeting on July 11, 2022, in the
Room at the offices of Paducah Power System.
The meeting was called to order at 12:00 p.m. by Chairman Ed Hely who
led. Members of the Electric Plant Board present in addition to Chairman
were Hardy Roberts, Mark Workman, Sandra Wilson and Darryl Pea. PPS
ayees present were Dave Carroll, Andrea Underwood, Doug Handley, Eileen
r, Brian Thomasson, Hayleigh Thompson, and Ryan Shepherd (the
mated PPS employee representative). David Snow (Paducah Sun) and Plant
i attorney, Kent Price (McMuny & Livingston), also attended the meeting.
Chairman Hely fust called on Brian Thomasson who presented this

Member Workman then offered a motion, seconded by Member Pea, to
ve the Consent Agenda which consisted of approving (i) the minutes of a
of the Electric Plant Board held on June 27, 2022; (ii) the increase
hourly rate of McMurry & Livingston, PLLC, for legal services provided to
Electric Plant Board to $145.00. The motion was adopted unanimously with
ill members saying aye, except for Member Wilson who abstained from the vote.
The next item of business was a motion offered by Member Roberts and
>econded by Member Wilson that the Electric Plant Board approve the FT8
Upgrades Proposal of Mitsubishi Power Aero LLC dated April 13,
?022, in the amount of $243,434.00 for Generation II Controls System Upgrade
and Automatic Synchronizer Upgrade at the PPS Peaking Plant. Dave Carroll then
;xplained that the proposal was for routine upgrades to the controls system at the
?eaking Plant that must be periodically performed. Following discussion, the
notion was adopted unanimously with all members saying aye.
Chairman Hely then called on PPS Business Systems Manager, Eileen
Yliller, who made a presentation on a new program being implemented that will
)ermit PPS customers to pay their electric power bills at checkout at various retail

Member Workman then offered a motion seconded by Member Roberts
Adjournment at the meeting of the Electric Plant Board be adjourned. The motion was adopted
with all members saying aye, whereupon the meeting was adjourned.
