ORDINANCE NO. 2003-6-6654
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL ESTATE
LOCATED AT 401 KENTUCKY AVENUE, FROM UNION PLANTERS BANK, N.A,
AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF SAID REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY OF
PADUCAH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts the transfer of real
estate located at 401 Kentucky Avenue, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEING THE PROPERTY SITUATED AT THE NORTHWEST
INTERSECTION OF KENTUCKY AVENUE AND SOUTH 4'
STREET, PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND SHOWN AS PARCEL
"B" ON THE PLAT OF SUBDIVISION OF UNION PLANTERS
BANK PROPERTY RECORDED IN PLAT SECTION "L", PAGE
, McCRACKEN COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE.
Being in all respects the same property conveyed to Peoples First
National Bank & Trust Company by Deed dated July 12, 1966, of
record in Deed Book 479, Page 280, and by Deed dated June 30,
1975, of record in Deed Book 572, Page 631, McCracken County
Clerk's Office.
GRANTOR RETAINS THE RIGHT OF INGRESS AND EGRESS
ACROSS THE PARKING LOT LOCATED ON THE ABOVE
REFERENCED PROPERTY TO ACCESS THE PARKING LOT
OWNED BY IT WEST OF AND ADJACENT TO THE
PROPERTY CONVEYED HEREIN. SAID EASEMENT IS
SHOWN AS THE HATCHED AREA ON THE ABOVE -
REFERENCED PLAT.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any and all
documents necessary to accomplish the purpose of transferring the above-described real
estate to the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KIS Chapter 424.
