[.The Paducah Creative & Cultural Council convened for a Called Council meeting on April 21,
2022, at 4:30 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall at 300 South 5th Street.
II. Roll Call
Upon a call of the roll, the following members answered to their names: Chad Clark
Cindy Ragland, Shand Stamper, Morgan Walker
The following members were present: April Cochran, City Planning Director Nic Hutchison and
Basil Drosos
The following did not answer: Mary Katz, Steven Page; arrived late
III. APPROVE MINUTES FOR March, 2021
Cochran moves to approve minutes, Drosos Walker seconds. No objections. All in
favor. Minutes approved.
IV. New Business
1. Ad HOC art committee (a civic committee) hosted consultant came and was hosted in
Paducah to a full gambit of the arts. Coverage in Paducah Sun Apr 21, 2022 Page A2
2. Cochran will be the C&CC liaison to Mary Hammond to assist with the AEP6 audience
survey. Arts and Economic Prosperity.
V. Old Business
a) Website is at 47 listings. Socially Present will build marketing tool/newsletter and teach
us how to use it.
b) C. Clark, N. Hutchinson identify spots for public art. Hard copy offered to board members
to review before further discussion.
c) Women's Club Art Show -Opens April 25th -May 7th
d) Mayfield Ice House Art Guild Art Show - Opens May 13th, Reception May 20th, 5-7pm
e) Other Business: N. Hutchinson, C. Ragland, Mary Hammond from CVB and Michael
Cochran from Market House Theater met to discuss to C&CC can support the art
organizations in Paducah.
