HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-12-6463215 ORDINANCE NO. 2001-12- 6 5� AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE PROPOSED SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY OF GLENN AND MARY JORDAN FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON/AT 2521, 2511, 2501, 2335, 2427, 2419 NORTH 13TH STREET, AND PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission, at a meeting held on January 22, 2000, adopted as a preliminary report a plat of the proposed subdivision of property of Glenn and Mary Jordan, located on/at 2521, 2511, 2501, 2335, 2427, 2419 North 13th Street, and by Resolution dated November 5, 2001, recommended to the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, the adoption of an ordinance approving the final plat of said subdivision reflected thereon, and accepting the dedication of streets and public easements shown thereon; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer by letter dated November 15, 2001, stated that all requirements had been completed in accordance with the subdivision plan and the City's specifications and hereby recommends the acceptance of the aforesaid subdivision plat. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on November 5, 2001, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED FINAL SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY OF GLENN AND MARY JORDAN FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON/AT 2521, 2511, 2501, 2335, 2427, 2419 NORTH 13TH STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters set forth therein. SECTION 2. That the subdivision of said property shall be, and it is hereby, approved as shown on the plat referred to in said subdivision, which plat is entitled, "Final Plat of Subdivision for Glenn & Mary Jordan Located on the North Side of 13th Street, Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky", and said property is hereby declared to be subdivided as shown on said plat. SECTION 3. That the dedication of the public right-of-way and public utility easements shown on said plat shall be, and they are hereby, accepted and shall be maintained by the City of Paducah, but such acceptance shall not constitute an undertaking on the part of this Board or the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for the construction or improvements of said right-of- way. The Mayor is hereby authorized to subscribe a certificate of approval on the plat. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. 216 SECTION S: This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication according to KRS Chapter 424.
