Home My WebLink About2001-11-6458210 ORDINANCE NO. 2001-11- 646-7 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED NEAR THE NORTHEASTERLY CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF IRVIN COBB DRIVE AND MAYFIELD ROAD, FROM PADUCAH & LOUISVILLE RAILWAY, INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF SAID REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OFPADUCAH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby accepts the transfer of real property from Paducah and Louisville Railways, Inc., of tracts of property located near the northeasterly corner of the intersection of Irvin Cobb Drive and Mayfield Road, and being more particularly described as follows: Being a tract of land located near the northeasterly corner of the intersection of Irvin Cobb Drive and Mayfield Road in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, said property contains 200,399 square feet or 4.601 acres and is designated as Tract "C" by plat recorded in Plat Section "L", page 718 of the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office, said tract being subject to all restrictions, covenants and easements as shown thereon and/or of public record. Being a portion of the same property conveyed to Paducah & Louisville Railways, Inc., as indicated by documents of record in Deed Book 717, Page 403 and Deed Book 964, Page 224 of the McCracken County Clerk's Office. This description was prepared by Farris, McIntosh & Tremper, Inc., 124 South 31St Street, Paducah, Kentucky, 42001, under the seal and signature of Richard G. Davis, Kentucky Professional Land Surveyor #1842 on October 16, 2001. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to accomplish the purpose of transferring the above-described real property to the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KR 4 4.
