HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-23-2019 Called Mtg PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Commission Chambers Called Meeting January 23, 2019 5:30 p.m. Attendees: Chair Crecelius, Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, Wade Absent: Benberry, Morrison PLEDGE ELECTION OF OFFICERS The Meeting was turned over by Chair Crecelius to Dan Key, Counsel for Election of Officers. CHAIR 1st Order of Business: Dan Key, Counsel, opened the floor for nominations for election of Chair for 2019. Member Wade Nominated Member Crecelius for Chair. Vice-Chair Schramke seconded the motion for Member Crecelius as Chair. There was a call for further nominations; no further nominations were received; nominations ceased. Member Shadle offered the Motion to cease the nominations and Member Crecelius was nominated Chair by acclamation. Member Bradford Seconded the Motion. Yea (Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, and Wade) Nay Votes (0). The Meeting was turned back into the hands of Chair Crecelius, who nominated Member Schramke for Vice-Chair Member Bradford seconded the motion for Member Schramke as Vice-Chair. Chair Crecelius entertained a Motion for Nominations to cease and Member Schramke be nominated Vice-Chair by acclamation. Member Shadle offered the Motion to cease the nominations and Member Schramke was nominated Vice-Chair by acclamation Member Wade Seconded the Motion. Yea (Chair Crecelius, Bradford, Shadle, Wade) Nay Votes (0). APPROVAL OF MINUTES Member Bradford offered the following Motion: I move that the reading of the minutes for December 3, 2018, be waived and that the minutes of said meeting, as prepared by the secretary, be approved as written. The Motion was seconded by Vice-Chair Schramke and adopted (5). Yea Votes (Chair Crecelius, Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, Wade) Nay Votes (0). Case #: WAV2019-113 Property Address: 3900, 3914 & 3936 Primrose Place Applicant / Owner: Nancy Jennings and Justin & Evelyne Hildreth Member Shadle offered the following Motion: I move that this Commission receive and file the application of Nancy Jennings and Justin & Evelyne Hildreth for the proposed re-subdivision of property located at 3900, 3914 and 3926 Primrose Place. I further move that the requested waiver of the public hearing and the dedication of streets be given and approval of the submitted plat be granted. Vice-Chair Schramke seconded the Motion and adopted (5). Yea Votes (Chair Crecelius, Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, Wade) Nay Votes (0). Case #: WAV2019-114 WAV2019-113 WAV2019-114 Property Address: 6700 Tuscan Road and 1211 Westwind Drive Applicant / Owner: Ronnie and Cynthia Bowman Stroud Member Wade offered the following Motion: I move that this Commission receive and file the application of Ronnie Stroud for the proposed re- subdivision of property located at 6700 Tuscan Road and 1211 Westwind Drive. I further move that the requested waiver of the public hearing and the dedication of streets be denied and approval of the submitted plat be denied as presented. Member Shadle seconded the Motion. Staff introduced that there was new information forthcoming regarding the agenda item, and Rick Tosh, Dummer Surveying and Engineering presented the new information. After presentation by Rick Tosh, and discussion by the Commission, Applicant, and Staff, Member Wade consented to allow Member Bradford to amend the Motion. The Consent was seconded by Member Shadle. Member Bradford offered the Motion to amend the Motion to approve and replace the word denial of the submitted plat to approval of the submitted plat. Member Shadle seconded the motion and adopted (5). Yea Votes (Chair Crecelius, Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, Wade) Nay Votes (0). Case #: WAV2019-115 Property Address: 2440 and 2470 Lone Oak Road Applicant / Owner: Paducah Lone Oak, LLC Vice-Chair Schramke offered the following Motion: I move that this Commission receive and file the application of Paducah Lone Oak, LLC for the proposed re-subdivision of property located at 2440 and 2470 Lone Oak Road. I further move that the requested waiver of the public hearing and the dedication of streets be given and approval of the submitted plat be granted. Member Wade seconded the Motion and adopted (5). Yea Votes (Chair Crecelius, Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, Wade) Nay Votes (0). WAV2019-115 Case #: WAV2019-117 Property Address: 1616, 1700, 1720, 1726 Irvin Cobb Drive and 305 Chamblin Avenue Applicant / Owner: Mid-South Energy Properties, LLC Member Bradford offered the following Motion: I move that this Commission receive and file the application of Seay Oil Company for the proposed re-subdivision of property located at 1616, 1700, 1720 & 1726 Irvin Cobb Drive and 305 Chamblin Avenue. I further move that the requested waiver of the public hearing and the dedication of streets be given and approval of the submitted plat be granted. Member Wade seconded the Motion and adopted (5). Yea Votes (Chair Crecelius, Vice-Chair Schramke, Bradford, Shadle, Wade) Nay Votes (0). OTHER: ADJOURNMENT 6:01 P.M.
