HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-28-2019 v2 A regular meeting of the members of the Paducah Main Street Board was held on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 3:00 p.m., at City Hall in the Commission Chambers’ Ante Room, second floor, Room Members - Present Members - Absent Staff - Present Landee Bryant Jeff Canter Katie Axt – Main Street Director Josh Linville Jennifer Frazier Donna Jackson – Administrative Asst. I Zack McMillan Jim Smolen Jill Poimboeuf MONTHLY REINVESTMENT STATS Staff presented an overview of the Kentucky Main Street reinvestment stats. Stats will be reviewed monthly by the Board and reported to Kentucky Main Street quarterly. The Board discussed additional metrics to track for Paducah Main Street. Board members suggested tracking activity in Lower Town, and volunteer activity for all events. 2019 WORK PLAN DEVELOPMENT Staff will be working with each Main Street committee to develop work plans for 2019. The 2019 Work Plan will be reviewed and approved by the Board in April. 2019 VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION DINNER Staff provided an updated on the March 7th Volunteer Appreciation Dinner. Zack McMillan secured a sponsorship from Independence Bank for food. Jill Poimboeuf secured a sponsorship from Jennings & Associates for beverages. Josh Linville secured a sponsorship from Manly Daniels for the event fee. Paducah Main Street will cover print materials and music. 2019 COMMITTEE REPORT OUTS Organization – Zack McMillan reported that Org Committee is recruiting new committee volunteers from Paducah Tilghman and McCracken County high schools Design – Katie Axt reported out that Design Committee’s focus is developing Downtown Design Guidelines Promotions – Promotions Committee did not meet in January. Next meeting will be February 14 Economic Vitality - Economic Vitality did not meet in January.
