Director Report Out: Appointment of new members: Mayoral recommendation is for David Godfrey and Lucas Bremer. Staff recommends JT Crawford for the 9th placement. o Board training for new members: the Kentucky Main Street guidebook has been issued to board members for review. Monthly Reinvestment Stats: Update expected in Q1 2021. City Block Update: Main Street Board and committee members have been invited to attend a design charette scheduled for November 9th. Invitations been issued via email for a digital meeting. RSVP requested. TIF Update: The city applied for the TIF program with the state in July 2019, received approval in August 2019. City is working with the state to finalize the agreement and work toward final approval by end of the year. No new update. Budget Report Out: No changes from October 5th, no disbursements. Holiday budget attached. Staff has upped the holiday portion of the promotions budget from 25% (typical) to 40% and added additional promotions in order to better support merchants during the holiday season. Committee Report Outs: Organization/ Promotions: Report from Melanie Reason. Org committee will meet on Monday, November 2nd at noon to talk work plan and begin holiday decorations. Design: Report from Jeff Canter. Committee is working on formatting the document and will produce a draft for the committee mid-November. Economic Vitality: Report from Katie Axt. Economic vitality committee will meet to refresh work plan/strategy in light of Covid-19. Meeting Adjourned at 3:30 pm. Next meeting will be 11/30/20 at 3:00 pm.
