HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-9-6418146 ORDINANCE NO. 2001-9-,6418 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF CROFT & ADAMS CONSTRUCTION INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $59,592.00 FOR PARKS DEPARTMENT RENOVATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME, AND AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS BY THE FINANCE DIRECTOR BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Croft & Adams Construction Inc. in the amount of $59,592.00 for Parks Department renovations, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and as contained in the bid of Croft & Adams Construction Inc. of June 21, 2001. SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Croft & Adams Construction Inc. for Parks Department renovations, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. That the Finance Director is authorized to transfer the sum of $31,496.00 from the Commission Contingency Fund to Account No. 001-2202-531- 44205, for this project. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
