HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-9-6414139 ORDINANCE NO. 2001-9--W/l/ AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO.2 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,790.24 WITH H & G _ CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., FOR THE CONRAD HEIGHTS ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2000-5-6200 to enter into a contract with H & G Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $962,539.92 for the Conrad Heights Roadway Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was required for an increase in the amount of $58,057.19 for roadway items and $29,533.63 for water line items for a total increase of $87,590.82 , increasing the total contract price to $1,050,130.74; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is required for an increase in the amount of $1,790.24 for additional work at two residences and in order to finalize the project for the above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $1,051,920.98. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 2 for an increase in the amount of $1,790.24 with H & G Construction Company, Inc., for additional work at two residences in order to finalize the project, increasing the total cost to $1,051,920.98. SECTION 2. This shall be charged to account no. 040-3315-532-2307 (ST0016). SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
